Serial Number 1067; Year of Construction 1961.
Registration EI – BSB in Ireland since 1984. IAA permit to fly to May 2009.
Formerly F-BKAA (aero club at St-Cyr); G-AWIG (Hucknall etc.) (was on PFA permit while in UK). All past aircraft log books available.
This aircraft was brought to Ireland in 1984. Since 1996 it has been based at Kilrush Airfield (EIKH) in County Kildare, outside Dublin, where it is kept in a high-quality dry hangar.
On 3-7-1987 it was ditched in the Irish Sea off Howth following an engine failure, and recovered, restored with a replacement engine. It has been operating during the subsequent 20 years without any negative effect from the ditching.

Regular maintenance, 25-hour oil change time and oil screen cleaning (Aeroshell W80);

Magnetos approaching 500 hr inspection
Rings replaced #3 cylinder (11/2/06) and #1 cylinder (June 2008).
Marvel Schebler carb overhauled 1/7/06.
Carb heat & throttle cables replaced Aug 06.
New rubbers in stbd undercarriage (Feb 07)
Rudder hinges & stbd elevator hinge replaced, trim cable (2004/5)
Tyres replaced in 2002.
Ilmer exhaust system was installed in 2002.
Performance:
Cruise around 80 knots (92 mph) at 2150 tr/min, varies with conditions & loading.
Stall approx 30 mph IAS.
